8th November 2024, at Jannat Masjid, Bhuj, Kutch
A delegation of three officers from the Indian Police Department visited Jannat Masjid in Bhuj, Kutch, during Friday prayers to promote goodwill and raise cybercrime awareness. Their visit focused on educating the community about prevalent cyber threats, including phone scams, and fostering a safe online environment.
The officers gave a detailed presentation, engaged in an interactive Q&A session, and received a meaningful gift—a Hindi-translated sketch of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri—from Osmangani, a Core Committee Member of Minhaj ul Quran Kutch.
The event concluded with a symbolic tree plantation drive, strengthening community ties and promoting environmental sustainability. This collaborative outreach between law enforcement and community leaders effectively empowered residents to protect themselves online, demonstrating the positive impact of such partnerships.
