The COVID-19 pandemic and deteriorating economic situation globally has
pushed many of those most vulnerable even deeper into extreme poverty. Besides
the tragic toll on human life, with countries shutting their borders and
undergoing quarantines, economies have taken a huge hit.
The tragedy has taken a heavy toll on the Indian economy and the job losses
are mounting, especially among the daily wage workers. Many laborers have lost
their informal daily wages, and now face severe levels of food insecurity.
MIWF is committed to feeding these poor families to the best of its ability.
We are identifying poor families through our volunteer teams who are working on
the ground.
Alhamdulillah with the support of our generous donors , our teams completed
Phase-3 of the Helpfeed project and distributed the Ration packets to 3686
